Advice to Prospective Students: All prospective students should explore every single resource on campus. If you do so, I assure you that you will discover the uncountable opportunities that Hudson Valley provides to all students from all different backgrounds. The opportunities are just there; you only have to go and find them.
Favorite Place You Have Been: As an international student, I have had the chance to visit many places. However, the place that captivated my mind and heart is Santorini, Greece. If I would have to describe this place in three words they would be: charming, breath-taking, and inspiring.
What You Will Find on My IPOD: As a Spanish speaker, you will obviously find a few songs in my native language as well as any type of songs in English.
Favorite Movie or TV Show: I don’t have any favorite movie. I especially enjoy drama, horror, comedy and documentary movies. The TV shows I usually watch are: The Apprentice, That 70’s Show, The Simpsons, No Reservations, among others.
Favorite Thing About Hudson Valley Community College: The wide variety of clubs and organizations that college provides to students. In addition, I love The Writing Center and the Learning Assistance Center (LAC). I spend most of my time in these places. If you go there, you will not only find academic support, but you will also find a friendly environment.
